Research in David Lab:
Perform repair kinetics with NTHL1 wildtype and variant glycosylases. Design and synthesize nucleoside analogs for inhibition of enzymes in the base excision repair pathway
Previous Research Experience:
Jennifer (or Jenny) obtained her B.S. from University of California, Berkeley (Go Bears!) where she worked in the lab of Dr. Matthew Francis developing targeted drug delivery vehicles for glioblastoma using recombinantly-expressed bacteriophage MS2 viral capsids and covalently modifying their interior and exterior surfaces with relevant dyes, therapeutics, or targeting proteins. This work led to the publication of three scientific papers!
